Trump: no American soldier will be in Ukraine
US President Donald Trump ruled out the possibility of American military involvement in the conflict in Ukraine. "We will not have soldiers in the war zone [in Ukraine]," he told reporters at Andrews Air Force Base. The broadcast of the performance was conducted by the C-SPAN TV channel.

At the same time, Trump confirmed that the US is ready to supply weapons to Ukraine, clarifying that payment for these weapons will be made by European countries. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte clarified that American weapons will first be delivered to Europe, not directly to Kyiv, due to the payment mechanism.

Also, on July 14, during a meeting with Rutte, Trump expressed "extreme dissatisfaction" with Russia's position and threatened to impose 100% tariffs on Moscow and its trading partners if a ceasefire agreement is not reached within 50 days.

The Kremlin responded that they are analyzing the White House chief's "very serious" statements. The press service noted that Kyiv perceives the decisions made in Washington "not as a signal for peace, but as a signal for the continuation of the war."
