Uzbek Cyclist Wins Gold at ASEAN Track Series

Sergey Rostovtsev continues his strong performance at the international ASEAN Track Series cycling tournament in Malaysia. On the second day of competition, he claimed two more gold medals, reinforcing his position as one of the event’s top athletes.
Winners were determined today in the women’s omnium as well as the men’s scratch and elimination races. Rostovtsev dominated both men’s events, finishing first ahead of all competitors.
The day before, the Uzbek cyclist had already opened the season with a gold medal in the omnium, bringing his total haul to three gold medals in two days for the national team of Uzbekistan, according to the Cycling Federation’s press service.
In the women’s omnium event, Uzbekistan’s Nafosat Koziyeva finished in fourth place.
