Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan Airways has launched repatriation flights on the Jeddah–Tashkent route starting March 2 amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The primary goal is to return Uzbek citizens who traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah before the recent regional escalation. The national carrier has mobilized additional aircraft and arranged special flights to ensure a swift evacuation.
According to the airline, the repatriation process will continue in stages until all citizens currently in Jeddah are safely returned home.
Relatives are advised to inform family members in Saudi Arabia about the launch of the flights and to follow official announcements from the airline.
