According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1,141 businesses received support during the seven-month period through the Trade Facilitation Fund. The ministry reported that the $17.1 billion export figure represented 132% of the level recorded in the same period last year. Uzbekistan also expanded the geographical reach of its exports. Domestic products were supplied to 120 countries, while five new markets were entered: Sudan, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Honduras and Mauritius. Export task forces continued to work directly with businesses. Between January and July, they reviewed 3,044 requests from entrepreneurs, with 2,547 cases, or 84%, resolved positively.
