Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan Expand Business Cooperation Following Ufa Forum

The Uzbekistan–Bashkortostan Business Forum in Ufa concluded with the signing of new cooperation agreements and commitments to implement joint projects. The event brought together more than 100 Uzbek companies representing the industrial, construction, healthcare, and IT sectors.

Following the forum, entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan signed contracts worth nearly US$100 million. The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Bashkortostan also signed a memorandum of cooperation.

One of the forum's key outcomes was an agreement to establish the Uzbekistan Trade House at the Eurasia Wholesale Distribution Center. In addition, Uzbek companies will participate in the International Multifunctional Business Complex project. Plans also include launching the sale of non-food products at the Tolpar Technopark.

During the forum, participants noted that trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan approached US$13 billion in 2025, while the number of enterprises with Russian capital operating in Uzbekistan exceeded 3,000. The forum served as another platform for expanding trade and economic cooperation and advancing new joint initiatives between Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan.
