The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) and the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UzRTSB) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding the participation of companies from both countries in electronic trading. The agreement provides for mutual access to the two countries’ commodity markets, simplified procurement procedures, analytical data exchange and joint projects.

The document was signed following a visit by a delegation of UzRTSB led by Chairman Asadulla Kayumov to the BUCE headquarters. Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus, Nuriddin Mamajonov, also attended the signing ceremony.

BUCE Chairman Alexander Osmolovsky highlighted the growing activity of Uzbek businesses on the Belarusian trading platform. According to him, the value of transactions involving Uzbek participants increased by 21% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, while the number of accredited Uzbek companies reached 281.

The two exchanges also focused on cooperation in public procurement. UzRTSB operates Uzbekistan’s electronic public procurement system. The Belarusian side reviewed the updated new-xarid.uzex.uz platform, launched by UzRTSB in June 2026. The platform uses artificial intelligence technologies to speed up procurement procedures, improve transparency and provide price-analysis tools.

The parties are considering integrating the electronic trading platforms of BUCE and UzRTSB, which could enable companies from both countries to participate in public and corporate procurement markets on a reciprocal basis. The exchanges also intend to continue integrating exchange-based instruments into bilateral trade and expanding the presence of Uzbek businesses on the Belarusian commodity market.

UzRTSB’s official information confirms that Asadulla Kayumov serves as Chairman of the Management Board of JSC UzRTSB.
