At the beginning of the conversation, the guest conveyed to the President the warm wishes of the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman al-Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the country, Mohammed al-Saud. As a sign of respect for the multinational people of Uzbekistan, a special gift was presented - a part of the sacred covering of the Kaaba.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for this symbolic gift, as well as for the comprehensive support provided to Uzbek pilgrims. In 2024, more than 800 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan performed Umrah, and 15 thousand performed Hajj.

The parties discussed measures to improve the conditions and quality of services for pilgrims, including security, transport logistics, and medical support. The meeting emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation in this area.
