The visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Slovenia has concluded. During the visit, the most important documents were signed, opening new horizons in bilateral relations.

In Ljubljana, negotiations were held between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister Robert Globa, following which a number of agreements on key areas of cooperation were signed. In the presence of the leaders, an exchange of bilateral documents took place, including:

on the exemption of diplomatic passport holders from visa requirements;

on cooperation in the field of education, science and culture;

on cooperation in the field of transport and logistics;

on cooperation in the field of "smart" city management;

on cooperation in the field of standardization;

on cooperation in the field of water resources management;

on cooperation in the field of tourism.

This package of agreements laid the foundation for the systematic expansion of Uzbek-Slovenian relations and became the logical conclusion of the visit, marking a new stage in relations between the two countries.
