In Dushanbe, Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met to discuss strengthening economic ties and launching new areas of joint projects.

Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon held talks in Dushanbe to review the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation.

The sides noted steady growth in mutual trade and investment cooperation. Rahmon highlighted the significant potential to further advance collaboration in industry, energy, transport, and agriculture.

Particular attention was also given to expanding cultural and humanitarian ties. According to the Tajik presidential press service, both Tashkent and Dushanbe are interested in intensifying exchanges in this sphere.
