Uzbekistan has improved its position in the global Henley Passport Index, climbing five places to rank 75th out of 105 countries in 2025. The result reflects growing international mobility for Uzbek citizens.
According to Henley & Partners, holders of an Uzbek passport can travel to 61 countries without a prior visa or with a visa on arrival, expanding opportunities for tourism, business, and personal travel.
In the updated ranking, Uzbekistan moved ahead of Cuba, Mozambique, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, highlighting a gradual strengthening of its international standing.
The Henley Passport Index is one of the world’s most authoritative passport rankings, assessing countries based on the number of destinations accessible without a visa or with a visa on arrival. A higher ranking indicates a stronger passport and greater freedom of movement for citizens.
