Uzbekistan Finishes CIS Games with 119 Medals

Team Uzbekistan wrapped up the 3rd CIS Games in Azerbaijan with a total of 119 medals, securing 4th place in the overall standings.
On the final day, Uzbek rhythmic gymnasts claimed a bronze medal in the group event — in routines with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.
Throughout the competition, Uzbekistan earned 25 gold, 33 silver, and 61 bronze medals, finishing behind Russia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.
These Games became a valuable experience for young Uzbek athletes. Many of them are now preparing for the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, set to begin in ten days. The coaching staff sent a roster of promising talents to Azerbaijan — and they delivered impressive performances.
