Yesterday, the flight of reconnaissance and strike drone Bayraktar TB2 was demonstrated to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev has visited a military unit in Surkhandarya region. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
It is noted that on 16 November the President got acquainted with the conditions created in the military unit in Surkhandarya region, military equipment and weapons used in border protection. The importance of unmanned aerial vehicles was emphasised and issues of their production were discussed.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev was also informed about the ongoing work to improve the potential and strengthen the material and technical base of the armed forces, readiness of personnel, management and maintenance of modern weapon complexes and unmanned aerial vehicles.
