According to the government's decision, 1 kg of cargo will have to pay 2% of the base calculated value (BCA), which is currently 7,500 soums. Previously, orders worth up to $1,000 per quarter were not subject to customs duties.

In addition, as part of the reforms, customs fees for registration outside working hours have been reduced - from 2 BCAs to 25% of BCAs (approximately 93.75 thousand soums), as well as fees for processing customs regimes have been reduced by half. A fee of 25% of the BPR has been established for the transit regime. For pre-declaration of goods, a 20% discount will apply.

The new provisions will come into force three months after the official publication of the decision.
