Uzbekistan Judo Team to Compete at Budapest Grand Slam

Uzbekistan’s national judo team will compete at the upcoming Grand Slam tournament in Budapest from September 11 to 13. Six Uzbek judokas — three men and three women — will take part in the competition.
More than 500 judokas from 70 countries are expected to compete at the tournament in Hungary. Members of Uzbekistan’s national team have already departed for the event.
In the men’s competition, Uzbekistan will be represented by Doston Ruziyev in the under-60kg category, Elbek Tojiyev in the under-73kg category and Murodjon Yuldoshev in the under-81kg category.
In the women’s events, Sevinch Murodova will compete in the under-48kg category, Muhayyo Akhmatova in the under-52kg category and Marjona Kuchimova in the under-78kg category.
The Budapest Grand Slam will take place from September 11 to 13.
