Uzbekistan open track and field championship starts in Tashkent

Today, 1 June, Uzbekistan's open track and field championship started in Tashkent. A total of 355 athletes from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan will compete in the event, which will last until 2 June, the Uzbekistan NOC press service reported.
Renowned athletes from Uzbekistan will compete in the championship: Sharif Davronov, Svetlana Radzivil, Safina Sadullayeva, and Sukhrob Khodjaev.
It should be noted that this championship is included in the calendar of competitions of the International Athletics Federation. And taking into account this factor, the tournament participants have a chance to win a ticket to Paris 2024 by fulfilling the Olympic standard or to record valuable rating points in their assets. In total, 45 sets of medals will be played at the competition.
