During the visit, the delegation held talks with Qatari government representatives and leading companies. Discussions focused on joint initiatives in industry, energy, agriculture, transport infrastructure and the development of mineral resources.

A key priority was attracting Qatari capital to projects in New Tashkent. The sides also explored opportunities for industrial cooperation, the development of transport corridors and infrastructure projects based on public-private partnerships.

The meetings addressed financing mechanisms for promising initiatives and ways to strengthen cooperation with international financial institutions. Support for women’s and youth entrepreneurship was another important topic, with the aim of encouraging broader business participation in bilateral economic cooperation.

The visit aimed to advance investment proposals and strengthen business ties between Uzbekistan and Qatar. At its conclusion, the sides agreed on further steps to develop investment projects, reinforce commercial contacts and implement the agreements reached.

Follow-up efforts will focus on refining proposals and assessing opportunities for implementation. The cooperation agenda covers established economic sectors as well as infrastructure projects requiring long-term financing and private-sector participation. The agreements are intended to give fresh momentum to economic relations between the two countries.
