First, a 1.6-kilometer stretch of coastline between the Tinchlik and Karasu mahallas will be improved. Residents have access to modern pedestrian paths, a fountain, workout areas, a water park, and a tunnel under a bridge. Ornamental trees have also been planted, comfortable benches have been installed, and catering and service facilities have been constructed. The next stage plans to create an entertainment, recreational, and food street along the canal section running through the Karasu, Rovatak, and Faizabad mahallas. This structure will effectively manage traffic flows, improve road safety, reduce congestion, and reduce travel time between Tashkent and Nurafshan by 10-15 minutes. It includes a 66-meter-long and 46-meter-wide bridge, a 450-meter-long road tunnel, two U-turn lanes, four pedestrian underpasses, and a 950-meter-long ring ramp. In addition, 9.5 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths have been laid, eight public transport stops have been installed, 240 outdoor lighting poles, and 6 kilometers of road barriers have been installed. With the launch of the new facility, the capacity of this section will increase severalfold, reaching 130,000 vehicles per day. This will further improve transport links between Tashkent and the Tashkent region, reduce congestion, and create more comfortable conditions for residents.
