Uzbekistan’s national boxing team delivered a historic performance at the World Championships in Liverpool, winning a total of 11 medals — 6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze — to secure second place in the overall team standings among 68 participating nations.

World champions from Uzbekistan include Abdumalik Khalokov (−60 kg), Asadkhudja Muydinkhojayev (−65 kg), Fazliddin Erkinboev (−75 kg), Javohir Ummataliyev (−80 kg), Akmaljon Isroilov (−85 kg), and Turabek Habibullayev (−92 kg).

Silver medals went to Navbahor Hamidova (−65 kg) and Jahongir Zokirov (+90 kg).

Bronze medalists were Sabina Bobokulova (−48 kg), Feruza Kazakova (−51 kg), and Aziza Zokirova (−75 kg).

The tournament brought together 540 athletes from 68 countries, and Uzbekistan’s success once again confirmed the strength of its boxing school. The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan congratulated the athletes, coaches, and millions of fans on this outstanding achievement
