Uzbekistan’s Electronics Industry on the Rise

A video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev focused on boosting production, exports, and investments in Uzbekistan’s electronics sector. Over 100 experienced entrepreneurs took part in the discussion.
In the past seven years, $1 billion has been invested in the industry, leading to the establishment of 762 new enterprises and the launch of 45 new product lines. This indicates substantial growth in the sector.
Production volumes increased by 1.8 times, and the number of companies with annual revenues exceeding 100 billion sums grew from 6 to 25. As a result, state budget contributions from the sector increased eightfold.
Additionally, the number of countries importing Uzbek products has doubled in the last three years, reaching 62 nations, showcasing the country’s growing presence in international markets.
