Uzbekistan’s First National Transport Hackathon Names Nine Winning Teams

Uzbekistan has concluded its first National Transport Hackathon, focused on introducing artificial intelligence and digital technologies into the transport sector. Over three days, participating teams developed solutions aimed at improving mobility, applying AI to the Ministry of Transport’s information systems and analyzing large volumes of transport data.

The hackathon was held August 6–8 and ran for 72 hours. A total of 47 teams and 172 participants took part in the competition.

Nine winning teams were selected across three tracks.

In the “Special Services to Improve Population Mobility” track, VorteX took first place with QATNOV, followed by AlmaCode with EasyPay and AYSLATTE with “ЯСамокат”.

In the “Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Ministry of Transport’s Information Systems” track, the winners were Dominify with Aibus, 5dev with Permit Flow, and TransportBrain with TransportBrain Studio.

In the “Analysis of Large Transport Data” track, Team 21 won first place with Vector, Qamrov AI took second with Qamrov AI, and Developers placed third with Oqim.

The hackathon’s total prize fund amounted to UZS 320 million. In each of the three tracks, the first-place team received UZS 50 million, the second-place team UZS 25 million, and the third-place team UZS 15 million.

The event was designed to support the development of an AI ecosystem in the transport sector, promote digital solutions and support young professionals. The Ministry of Transport also announced plans to hold the National Transport Hackathon annually and organize the first transport-sector “ideathon” by the end of 2026.
