Uzbekistan’s Olympic Champions Honored by President
Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has recognized the outstanding achievements of athletes and coaches who brought historic success to the nation at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. These achievements reflect the significant investments in sports and the promotion of physical culture across the country.

Among those honored, boxers Hasanboy Dusmatov and Bahodir Jalolov, along with taekwondo athlete Ulugbek Rashitov, received the “El-yurt hurmati” order. Additionally, freestyle wrestler Razambek Jamalov and judoka Diyora Keldiyorova were awarded the title “Pride of Uzbekistan.”

The title of “Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was bestowed upon wrestler Gulomjon Abdullaev and weightlifter Akbar Juraev, highlighting their contributions to Uzbekistan’s global sports reputation.

Coaches were also acknowledged for their crucial roles. Ulugbek Azizov and Nella Kiyamova were awarded the title of “Honored Coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan” for their exceptional contributions to training successful athletes.
