Uzbekistan’s Proposals at the UN: Sustainable Development and Global Cooperation
The proposals presented by Uzbekistan aim to address some of the most pressing global issues. Key among them are the reform of the international financial system to expand opportunities for developing countries and intensifying efforts to combat climate change, particularly in Central Asia. The provision of safe and accessible digital technology for all was also highlighted.

In addition, Uzbekistan called for united efforts in the fight against terrorism and corruption, as well as the expansion of opportunities for women and youth. Developing transport corridors and strengthening economic ties in Central Asia remain critical for fostering regional stability.

Another important initiative is the transformation of the training center for Afghan citizens in Termez into a global educational hub, which would create new opportunities for peace and sustainable development in the region.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s proposals are expected to elevate international cooperation and play a pivotal role in addressing both regional and global challenges.
