UzCarlsberg Plans Capacity Growth and Wider Export Reach

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, visited the UzCarlsberg plant on August 29 to review its production processes, infrastructure and potential for further development.

The visit also highlighted plans to increase production capacity, develop infrastructure and expand the geographical reach of exports. Kudratov currently serves as Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, according to official government information.

According to information presented during the visit, more than €100 million has been invested in the construction of the enterprise. A further $70 million-plus has been allocated to technological upgrades, equipment modernisation and improvements in marketing and commercial operations.

The visit provided an opportunity to review the company's existing production infrastructure and prospects for future development. Increasing manufacturing capacity and developing export supplies were identified among the planned priorities.

Modernisation and technological renewal remain part of the company's development strategy alongside infrastructure and commercial development. Investment in equipment and technological upgrades has been directed towards strengthening and updating UzCarlsberg's production base.

Further expansion plans were also outlined during the discussions. They include increasing production capabilities, developing infrastructure and broadening the geographical reach of the company's exports.
