The management of Uzmetkombinat JSC held talks with representatives of J.P. Morgan on financing the company's strategic investment projects. The meeting, held in New York on 24 July, focused on strengthening the company's raw material base and expanding access to international capital markets.

The Uzbek delegation was led by Bahodir Abdullayev, Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Uzmetkombinat, together with Hasan Haydarov, Deputy Chairman for Financial, Economic Affairs and Transformation.

A key topic of discussion was financing projects designed to ensure a stable supply of raw materials for the company's operations. Particular attention was given to the Tebinbulak project, which is regarded as a strategic component of Uzmetkombinat's long-term raw material base.

The parties reviewed potential financing mechanisms, opportunities to raise capital in international financial markets, the use of modern financial instruments and prospects for establishing long-term cooperation.

Uzmetkombinat also presented its investment programme, which includes plans to expand production capacity, strengthen raw material security and diversify financing sources.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue discussions on promising investment projects, develop effective financing models and advance mutually beneficial cooperation.
