Famous football coach Viktor Djalilov passed away

On May 7, at the age of 71, coach Viktor Djalilov, who coached a number of clubs in the Uzbek football championship, passed away. This was reported by the press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
Viktor Jalilov was born in 1952 in Tashkent. He spent his football career in Pakhtakor and “Tekstilchi” clubs (Namangan).
He began his coaching career at the “Sokhibkor” club. In 1995-1997 he worked as the head coach of the Namangan club "Navbakhor" and brought this team the first and so far the only championship in history.
In 2002, he became the champion of Uzbekistan as part of the Pakhtakor club. In addition, he won silver medals three times, bronze medals four times with different teams, four times won Uzbekistan Cup tournaments. Three times he was recognized as the best coach of the year in Uzbekistan.
