Uzbek athletes have won 33 medals at the World Special Olympics

From June 9 to 26 of this year, the World Special Olympics took place in Berlin, Germany. In this competition, Uzbek athletes won 5 gold, 14 silver and 14 bronze medals.
The number of medals in sports is as follows:
Gymnastics – 10 (3 gold + 4 silver + 3 bronze);
rhythmic gymnastics – 7 (4 silver + 3 bronze);
athletics – 2 (2 silver);
judo-5 (3 silver, 2 bronze);
bowling - 3 (3 bronze medals);
table tennis-2 (gold + bronze);
swimming - 2 (2 bronze medals);
badminton-2 (gold + silver).
Today, the athletes were solemnly welcomed at the Tashkent International Airport. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Shakhrullo Mahmudov, relatives of athletes and media representatives.
