A Regional Branch of the Republican Forensic Expertise Center Named After X. Sulaymonova to Be Established in Tashkent Region

A government resolution (No. 849, dated December 18, 2024) titled "On Further Improvement of the Activities of the Republican Forensic Expertise Center Named After X. Sulaymonova under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan" has been adopted.

According to the resolution, a regional branch of the Republican Forensic Expertise Center named after X. Sulaymonova will be established in the Tashkent region.

By June 1, 2026, measures will be taken to house the Tashkent regional branch in a facility meeting state standards harmonized with international standards. The branch will also be equipped with specialized furniture, computers, other necessary equipment, and highly qualified professional staff.

A laboratory for the analysis of consumer products and drinking water composition will also be established at the Forensic Expertise Center. This laboratory will focus on detecting the presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in consumer products and analyzing the composition of drinking water.

The following types of forensic examinations and studies will be gradually implemented in the regional branches of the Forensic Expertise Center:

By October 1, 2025: In the Navoi regional branch, a laboratory for forensic examination of materials, substances, and objects, as well as forensic handwriting and document technical examinations.

By November 1, 2026: In the Karakalpakstan Republic branch, forensic phonography, fire-technical, and electrical-technical examinations.

By December 1, 2026: In the Kashkadarya regional branch, a laboratory for forensic examination of materials, substances, and objects, as well as forensic handwriting and document technical examinations.
