Key Appointments in the Presidential Administration

Major personnel changes have taken place in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Heads have been appointed to departments responsible for legal expertise, public security, communications, digitalization, and other strategic areas. These appointments aim to strengthen institutional capacity, support ongoing reforms, and enhance the efficiency of public administration.
According to the Presidential decree:
Alisher Samadov has been appointed Head of the Department for Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis. Previously, he served as Deputy Advisor to the President on the same issues.
Doniyor Kadirov is now Head of the Department for Public Security and Rule of Law. He was formerly the Presidential Advisor on coordination of law enforcement and oversight agencies.
Gayané Umerova has been appointed Head of the Department for Creative Economy and Tourism. She earlier held the position of Deputy Head of the Social Development Department.
Sherzod Asadov has been appointed Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration and will serve as the Press Secretary to the President.
Nodirjon Abdurahimov is now leading the Department for Analytical Content Preparation for Meetings and Regional Visits.
Bobur Khojaev has been appointed Head of the Department for Financial Technologies, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence.
Zilemkhon Khaidarov has been appointed Head of the Administrative Affairs Office of the Presidential Administration, having previously led the Finance and Administrative Department.
Ella Dzhahangirova is now Head of the Department for Event Organization, having served previously as Deputy Head of the Presidential Protocol.
These appointments reflect a continued effort to renew the leadership team and prioritize reform in key sectors.
