Uzbekistan’s Exports Reach $17.1 Billion in Seven Months as Five New Markets Opened

Uzbekistan’s exports reached $17.1 billion in January–July 2026, as the country expanded support for domestic exporters and entered five new foreign markets.
According to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1,141 businesses received support during the seven-month period through the Trade Facilitation Fund. A total of $136.5 million in pre-export financing was allocated to 113 enterprises, enabling $1.53 billion in export deliveries.
Textiles and fruit and vegetable products, jewellery, construction materials, food products and electrical goods made the main contribution to export growth. The ministry reported that the $17.1 billion export figure represented 132% of the level recorded in the same period last year.
Uzbekistan also expanded the geographical reach of its exports. Domestic products were supplied to 120 countries, while five new markets were entered: Sudan, Zimbabwe, Cambodia, Honduras and Mauritius.
Export task forces continued to work directly with businesses. Between January and July, they reviewed 3,044 requests from entrepreneurs, with 2,547 cases, or 84%, resolved positively.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade said further efforts will focus on expanding export destinations, increasing shipments of products with higher added value and improving mechanisms for supporting businesses.
