Aero Nomad Launches Direct Flights Between Bishkek and Tashkent

Kyrgyz airline Aero Nomad has launched scheduled flights on the Bishkek–Tashkent–Bishkek route. The inaugural service operated on August 23, with an Airbus A320 landing at Tashkent International Airport at 10:22 p.m. local time.
The aircraft was welcomed with a traditional water salute, while passengers were offered Uzbek national refreshments. A total of 163 passengers arrived in Tashkent on the inaugural flight, while 74 passengers registered for the return service.
Aero Nomad will operate two flights per week, on Thursdays and Sundays, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The launch brings the number of airlines operating direct services between the two capitals to three. Uzbekistan Airways and Centrum Air also serve the Tashkent–Bishkek route.
The Kyrgyz carrier is also considering further expansion in Uzbekistan. Potential destinations include Samarkand and Urgench, with direct flights from Bishkek to the two Uzbek cities under consideration. Discussions on expanding air connectivity took place before the launch of the regular Bishkek–Tashkent service.
