Trump Wants to Buy Canada and Other Neighboring Countries

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, in a Christmas greeting, stated that if Canada became the 51st state of the United States, taxes for Canadians would decrease by more than 60%.
In the message posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump also referred to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the "Governor of Canada."
"Merry Christmas to Governor of Canada Justin Trudeau. Taxes for his citizens are too high, but if Canada were to become the 51st state, their taxes would drop by more than 60%, their businesses would double in size, and they would be protected like no other country in the world," Trump wrote.
Trump also extended Christmas greetings to the "wonderful Chinese soldiers who are illegally managing the Panama Canal," as well as to Greenland. He emphasized that Greenland is crucial to U.S. national security and declared that the island desires U.S. presence on its territory. "We will be there," the future White House leader promised.
Previously, Trump had stated that owning Greenland is "absolutely necessary" for Washington. He also expressed a desire to reclaim the Panama Canal for the U.S., criticizing the high fees charged for its use.
According to sources cited by The New York Post, Trump is seriously determined to acquire Greenland and the Panama Canal, viewing the U.S. as an empire that needs to expand. He admires former U.S. leaders who expanded the country's territories and considers territorial growth as a "legacy that cannot be distorted or taken away."
