Andijan Airport to Resume Flights from March 20
Uzbekistan
Starting from March 20, Andijan International Airport will resume regular passenger services. The first route, Tashkent – Andijan – Tashkent, will be operated by Silk Avia, according to UzAirports.
Ticket sales began on March 18. Flights are scheduled twice a week — on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In the future, international flights from Andijan Airport are also expected to resume.
As part of the first phase of modernization, key aerodrome infrastructure has been completed: a new 3,300-meter-long runway, a taxiway, and an apron for three aircraft.
The terminal building remains unchanged for now — its reconstruction is planned for the second phase.
