Bayraktar brothers make Forbes billionaires list for first time

Turkish businessmen Selcuk and Haluk Bayraktar, who own Baykar Defence, have been included in Forbes' annual billionaires list for the first time.
The owners of the Turkish company Baykar Defence - Selcuk and Haluk Bayraktar - for the first time got into the list of billionaires from Forbes. Thus, the technical director and co-owner of Baykar Defence Selcuk Bayraktar took 2410th place with a fortune of $1.2 billion. He is also the son-in-law of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
At the same time, Baykar Defence CEO Haluk Bayraktar was placed on line 2545, and his fortune is estimated at $1.1bn, according to the rating data.
It should be noted that Baykar Defence is a Turkish military company, founded in 1984 as a company for the assembly of automotive components, but since 2000 the focus was shifted to the production of military drones, which are actively used by the Ukrainian army. It has also started construction of a drone manufacturing plant in Ukraine. The facility will produce Bayraktar drones, model TV2 or TV3.
