Biden: I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed

Biden said on Wednesday that he "has no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using" to estimate the death toll in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, where Israeli attacks have killed more than 6,500 people, according to the health department.
At a White House press conference, Biden was asked if this meant Israel was ignoring US calls to reduce civilian casualties in bombing the coastal enclave. According to the ministry, the population of the coastal enclave includes about 2,700 children.
"I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed. And it’s a price of waging a war."
