Bitcoin has set a new record

On July 14, 2025, Bitcoin surpassed $122,000 for the first time in history, showing rapid growth after months of relative stability. At the peak of trading, the exchange rate reached $122,604, increasing by 2.7% per day and 10.7% over the past week.
The capitalization of the main cryptocurrency exceeded $2.43 trillion, surpassing giants like Tesla and Alphabet and falling behind only the world's three largest companies - Microsoft, Apple, and Nvidia.
Since the beginning of 2025, Bitcoin has strengthened by 20%, and in 12 months, its price has almost doubled. The latest record highs were recorded:
in May 2025 - $110 000,
in December 2024 - $105,000;
in March 2024 - $70,000.
Experts note that the cryptocurrency broke free from its "side" and regained its upward momentum, bringing optimism back to the market. According to JPMorgan analysts' forecasts, previously announced in 2021, bitcoin could surpass the $146,000 mark in the long term.
