The successful operation of the joint venture for the production of hybrid and electric vehicles in Jizzakh was noted with deep satisfaction. Today, the first electric car rolled off the assembly line.

In the first phase of the project, $160 million was invested, creating 1,200 jobs. The enterprise has established a high-tech production process, including welding, painting, and assembly.

During the meeting, President Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to expand the model range and increase production capacity to 500,000 units per year in the near future.

Special attention was given to projects for localizing components and spare parts to reduce production costs, as well as organizing the export of cars to Central Asian and CIS markets.

The company's plans to participate in the development of "green" transport in Uzbekistan were also supported. This includes the creation of a joint innovative research centre for training personnel, the development of technical regulations and standards for electric transport, and the production of the latest generation Blade batteries and BYD electric buses.
