President Continues Meeting with Education Sector Workers

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding an ongoing meeting with representatives of the education sector in honor of Teacher's and Mentor's Day. During the event, distinguished educators who have achieved significant results are being awarded state honors.
The president emphasized the importance of creating conditions that foster both the personal and professional development of teachers. He stressed that legal, social, and financial protection for educators must be ensured.
The meeting also highlights the ongoing reforms aimed at improving the education system. Special attention has been given to the development of pedagogical education, the reinstatement of part-time learning in higher education institutions, and an increase in the number of bonuses awarded based on teachers’ achievements.
Incentives for teachers with international certifications were also discussed. Currently, over 6,000 educators earn salaries exceeding 10 million UZS, a significant rise compared to previous years.
