China has officially begun trial production of flying cars. According to Xinhua, the company XPeng is gearing up to manufacture vehicles capable of traveling both on the road and in the air.
At its facility in China, XPeng has launched the pilot production phase of its flying vehicles. As reported by Xinhua, once the plant reaches full capacity, it will be able to assemble one flying car every 30 minutes.
The company says the project marks a new era in personal and urban mobility, combining ground and air travel in a single vehicle.
