According to the FIFA decision, the club must pay the Japanese player $45,000 in outstanding salary and $283,426 in compensation for the termination of his contract. Interest at an annual rate of 5% also applies to the relevant amounts.

Urata left Bunyodkor in spring 2026 amid the club’s financial difficulties. The 29-year-old defender subsequently signed a one-year contract with Croatian side Slaven Belupo.

Following his departure from the Tashkent club, Urata filed a claim with the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber. After reviewing the case, the chamber issued its final ruling in favour of the player.

Bunyodkor has 45 days from the notification of the decision to settle the full amount. Failure to comply would result in a ban on registering new players at both national and international levels.

The registration ban would remain in force for three consecutive transfer windows. If the debt remains unpaid after that period, the case may be referred to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.

The ruling also provides for interest payments. A 5% annual rate applies to each $15,000 salary instalment from February 6, March 6 and March 27, 2026 until full payment. Interest on the $283,426 compensation amount accrues from March 27, 2026.
