“Coalition of the Willing” Ready to Defend Ukraine

Allies of Ukraine, united in the “Coalition of the Willing,” are planning to provide Kyiv with security guarantees and military support in case of a new attack by Russia. The draft statement will be discussed today at a summit in Paris.
According to the draft statement published on Tuesday, security guarantees for Ukraine will include “binding commitments” in the event of future armed aggression by Russia.
These commitments may involve the use of military capabilities, intelligence and logistical support, diplomatic initiatives, and the imposition of additional sanctions on Moscow.
Additionally, coalition members will continue providing critical military aid and supplying weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces with US support.
Coalition countries will also participate in a “ceasefire monitoring and verification mechanism” overseen by the United States.
The final text of the statement is expected to be approved at today’s summit of leaders of the “Coalition of the Willing” in Paris.
