It is noted that the total area of unused spaces under the lines of the elevated metro is 100 thousand square metres, at least 50% of which can become an additional point of income generation for entrepreneurs.
"The cost of buying or renting these spaces will be much more acceptable compared to non-residential premises on the ground floors of residential complexes," the report says.
On a pilot basis, the commercial premises were opened in the middle of last year near metro station 2. After successful implementation of the project, it was decided to introduce it between the 3rd and 4th stations - in more densely populated locations.
In the future, the organisation of such premises up to Rohat Circle is envisaged in the first phase, and in the second phase - from Rohat Circle to Kuilyuk Market.
