Erkin Vohidov’s “O‘zbegim” Brings Together Poetry, Music and Artificial Intelligence

Erkin Vohidov’s “O‘zbegim” has received a new musical and visual interpretation using artificial intelligence technologies. The project was created by the Digital Art Creative Association, bringing together poetry, music, historical imagery and modern visual tools in a single music video.
The musical interpretation was performed by AI creator Aibek. The video’s visual world was developed by the association’s creative team using modern digital art tools and artificial intelligence technologies.
The project is based on one of the best-known works of Uzbek literature. “O‘zbegim” is a poetic work expressing national pride, historical memory, identity and the spirit of the Uzbek people. The creators sought to convey these themes through a contemporary visual language.
The video combines the historical memory of the Uzbek people, its national identity, landscapes and figures representing different eras into a unified visual narrative. It features images of great commanders, prominent scholars and thinkers, as well as representatives of the Jadid movement. Scenes from the past have been reimagined with the help of artificial intelligence, creating a new connection between historical themes and contemporary visual storytelling.
In the project, “O‘zbegim” is presented not simply as a work about a particular historical period. It reflects historical memory shaped over centuries, national identity, culture and the continuity between generations.
The main aim of the video is to help audiences experience these themes anew through a modern visual language and introduce classical Uzbek literature to a new generation in a different format. The combination of words, music and imagery creates a unified artistic narrative.
The creative team includes director Rauf Nabiev, AI creator and performer Aibek, historian Ozodbek Rajabov, and artificial intelligence specialists Davron Aliyev, Mirvosil Zokirov and Hasan Shokirov. The AI music was created by Farhod Badalov.
