Extensive opportunities are being created for people with disabilities

The list of prosthetics and rehabilitation tools for people with disabilities has been expanded from 18 to 30, with funding increased by 1.5 times. As a result, the needs of 100,000 people have been met since the beginning of the year.
Additionally, 7 more types of tools will be added to the list.
The Agency for Social Services, together with regional governors, has been tasked with delivering essential prosthetics to 80,000 people in need by 2025.
Thanks to the opportunities created, entrepreneurs have employed 40,000 people with disabilities this year.
To further expand this initiative, starting January 1, the social tax for employees with disabilities will be set at 1%. Companies will receive subsidies of up to 50 million UZS to cover the costs of sign language interpreters, psychologists, and escort services for the visually impaired.
Private employment agencies that place such individuals in jobs will be granted up to 500 million UZS. These agencies will identify people willing to work, train them, adapt them to company requirements, and provide support during the first six months of employment.
