Tashkent region took the third place in terms of salary growth, with an average salary of 5.4 million soums. Wages are growing particularly fast in some sectors of the economy. For example, in the banking and financial sectors, the average salary for the year exceeded 15.8 million soums. In the field of information technologies, the average earnings amounted to 14.8 million soums. Marat Bikmayev, a former Uzbekistan striker, ended his football career at the age of 37. This was announced by the Uzbekistan Football Association.
