Termez to Host Conference “Uzbekistan – Russia: Strategic Partnership in the Eurasian Space”

On March 30–31, Termez will host a Uzbekistan-Russia conference focused on strengthening strategic partnership between the two countries in the Eurasian region.
The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan and the International Discussion Club “Valdai.” Experts from government bodies, research centers, and business circles of both Uzbekistan and Russia will participate.
From Uzbekistan, participants include ISMI Director Eldor Aripov, Surkhandarya Governor Ulugbek Kosimov, Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Oleg Pekos, among others. The Russian delegation will include Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Ambassador Alexey Yerkhov, representatives of the Valdai Club, and officials from Tatarstan’s industrial sector.
Key topics of the conference include trade and economic cooperation, investment and industrial collaboration, digitalization, transport connectivity, and security and stability in Eurasia. A special interregional session will involve Tatarstan and Termez to discuss joint projects in practical terms.
The event will take place at the Termez International Trade Center, a strategic transport hub on Uzbekistan’s southern border, serving as a platform for expert dialogue and concrete steps to advance bilateral cooperation.
