Gulf Investors Expand Their Presence in Uzbekistan
On April 3, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with representatives of major companies from the Gulf Cooperation Council and their international partners. The key objective was to promptly address challenges faced by investors operating in the local market.

The meeting brought together representatives of major corporations, including ACWA Power, Masdar, Vision Invest, DataVolt, Saudi Tabreed, TAQA Water Solutions, and Metito Utilities.

The parties reviewed the implementation of joint projects, focusing on tax incentives and improving public-private partnership mechanisms. Financial and economic parameters of ongoing initiatives were analyzed, and steps to enhance the regulatory environment were outlined.

Discussions also covered the development of technical and transport infrastructure, including urban planning regulations and the integration of new capacities into unified systems.

Following the meeting, working groups were established and concrete steps were defined to amend legislation and further improve the investment climate.
