Hamas Released Israeli Hostages on Agreed Date
Hamas stated that the hostages were released only after Israel fulfilled its obligations under the agreement. According to them, the deal was guaranteed by international mediators.

Today's transfer of Israeli prisoners proceeded smoothly and in an orderly manner. Previous exchanges had been marked by large crowds and chaos. The released Israeli citizens are:

Yair Horn (46 years old) – lived in the Nir Oz settlement, abducted by militants on October 7, 2023. He and his family immigrated to Israel from Argentina.

Alexander (Sasha) Troufanov (29 years old) – a Russian-Israeli citizen who lived in Nir Oz with his girlfriend. His father was killed in the October 7 attacks.

Sagui Dekel-Chen (36 years old) – a U.S.-Israeli citizen, father of three children, one of whom was born while he was in captivity.

On Saturday, Hamas fulfilled its part of the deal. Now, as part of the agreement, the Israeli government plans to release 369 Palestinian prisoners held in the Gaza Strip.
