The main highlight of the visit was the signing of the agreement "On Cooperation and Mutual Assistance" between the Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akmalkhoja Mavlanov and the Commissioner of the US Customs Border Service Troy Miller.

It should be noted that the United States has signed such bilateral agreements with only 17 countries out of 200 countries around the world, Uzbekistan was included in this list as the 18th country.

For information, the foreign trade of goods with the USA increased by 48% in the last 6 years, and by 64% in the 8th month of this year. Based on today's potential and opportunities, these numbers are expected to increase in the future.

During the visit, the delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activities of the US National Targeting Center, the Academy of Cynology, the San Antonio International Airport in Texas, the "World Trade Bridge" auto border customs post in Laredo, and the "Texas-Mexico" international railway crossing point. .
