In the Swedish city of Malmö, an action was held related to the burning of the holy Muslim book Quran. Report informs, the organizer of the action was Salvan Momika, a 37-year-old immigrant from Iraq.

It is noted that the person who tried to stop him was detained by the police.

About 200 people took part in this action.

"There was a tense atmosphere at the event. It is noted that during the action, the police detained several more people," the report says.

Recall that Salvan Momika gathered people in Stockholm on June 28, the day of Eid al-Adha, and burned the holy book - the Quran. This rally was held with the permission of the Stockholm police. This caused a sharp discontent of the Muslims.

Earlier, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution condemning any actions that discriminate against sacred books, and recognizes such actions as a violation of international law.
