Tehran and Washington have taken an unprecedented step toward global de-escalation by aligning on a comprehensive draft agreement capable of entirely reshaping the security architecture in the Middle East. The Iranian news agency Mehr published the text of a 14-point settlement memorandum, which has garnered approval from key international stakeholders.

Iran Discloses 14 Points of Historic Memorandum with the US
The document outlines the lifting of Iran's maritime blockade within 30 days, the withdrawal of US forces from bordering zones, and the suspension of sanctions targeting the Iranian oil and gas sector. In return, Tehran commits to a 60-day window to hold renewed nuclear talks aimed at a final covenant, contingent upon the unfreezing of $12 billion in Iranian assets and the removal of the oil embargo.

Notably, the most contentious issues regarding Iran's ballistic missile program and its financial backing of the "Axis of Resistance" forces in the region were permanently excluded from the final text. Ahead of the disclosure, US President Donald Trump confirmed that the framework provisions had been approved in principle and detail by all participating nations, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey, and Egypt. However, the American leader emphasized that the US Navy will maintain the maritime blockade of the Islamic Republic until a legally binding deal is formally finalized.
